Tomato Bisque

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups VANEE CHICKEN BROTH
  • 1 Can TOMATO SOUP
  • 1 Cup Carrot, chopped
  • 1 Cup Celery, chopped
  • 28 Ounces Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Garlic, chopped
  • 2 Cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 Cup Spanish Onion, chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Thyme, ground

Directions

In a large soup pot saute onion, carrots, celery and garlic. Cook uncovered for approximately 8 minutes. Whisk in VANEE CHICKEN BROTH, TOMATO SOUP and cream. Add tomatoes and thyme. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove from heat to cool. Puree the soup and strain.
